Technical developments and geopolitical shifts in recent years have significantly increased the threat. AI-supported “cyber” attacks on industrial plants by highly professional organizations are no longer an exception. At the same time, legislators are tightening the requirements for “cyber” security in order to hold industry accountable. Secure remote access to machines and systems is essential in this context. As an established provider of remote access in industrial environments, this is precisely our core competence. We are a medium-sized, owner-managed company with a 100% focus on IT security “made in Germany”.

This is where you come in, as a sales manager in the field. The focus is on providing knowledgeable and solution-oriented advice and developing existing and new customers in southern Germany and Austria. Holistic thinking and an in-depth understanding of customer needs are particularly important. To meet customer requirements, you will coordinate with other departments. As part of the sales team, you will work together to achieve profitable growth in the DACH region.

Your tasks:
  • Responsibility for achieving and exceeding the DACH team’s revenue targets
  • Technical and commercial support for assigned customers and potential new customers in the DACH region, especially in Bavaria and Austria
  • Product presentations, project discussions, introduction of new products and services at the customer’s site or remotely
  • Technical project support for customers or sales partners
  • Participation in trade fairs and roadshows, conferences and customer events in general
  • Manager of first instance at the customer
  • Understanding of automation technologies and competitive positioning
  • Independent management of opportunities and annual forecast
  • Team player who understands and lives the company values
You should have the following qualifications:
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales or customer service for industrial solutions or in technical sales at OEMs and SIs
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Product and direct sales experience in the industrial/factory/IoT automation/IT security industry
  • Technical product and application experience in the OT/IT industry
  • You should be able to work from a home office, with 40% travel expected
  • You are a team player who always strives to maximize MB’s success
