MB connect line cooperates with IT security platform CERT@VDE
Working together to successfully combat cyber attacks in the field of industrial production – that is the goal of CERT@VDE, the IT security platform of VDE. With the increasing digitalization and networking of production plants, the risk of cyber attacks is also increasing. Hardly a day goes by without a report on encrypted operating data involving blackmail, data theft, espionage or similar. “Of course, nobody likes to talk about security incidents in their own company or even about security gaps in their own products,” says Siegfried Müller, Managing Director and owner of MB connect line GmbH. He further explains: “On the other hand, it is important to learn from each other, to analyse incidents and weak points and to develop strategies for future prevention together”.
CERT@VDE (Computer Emergency Response Team) serves as a confidential platform for this purpose. System providers, machine manufacturers and users can work closely together to ensure a structured approach to current threats and incidents.
