In connection with the current Covid 19 pandemic, the machine and plant manufacturer based in Troisdorf near Cologne has already reduced the delivery time of its lines to less than 4 months. In addition, the customers of the plants installed worldwide can be supported at any time. This is ensured by the industrial router mbNET, which provides secure access to the entire plant.

Via secure remote access, the machine and plant manufacturer can directly support the operators of the meltblown plants as if the service personnel were on site. This starts with the clarification of questions regarding operation and process safety, includes the modification of control programs or plant parameters and extends to the recording of production figures or wear data, so that the responsible personnel are informed of deviations in good time.

Even before the corona restrictions, the remote service module of MB connect line enabled continuous monitoring and remote maintenance of the systems of a machine manufacturer installed worldwide. This is even more important in the current situation. Contact bans, closed borders and cancelled flights make it almost impossible to travel to the plant for a short time. And if it does have to be, the effort involved is considerable. Moreover, nobody wants to expose neither his own employees nor the personnel of his business partners to unnecessary risks.
